Doyle Street cohousing builds community intentionally through optional shared meals, planned and spontaneous community-building activities, and caring for our shared spaces together.
Doyle Street Cohousing functions as a village to foster connection. Our diverse community consists of twelve private homes where residents participate in the life of the community through cooking, dining, maintaining shared facilities, and playing together.
Optional dinners twice a week in the common house, with rotating cooking responsibilities (approximately every 6-8 weeks)
About 6 hours a month in total — all scheduled in advance. That breaks down to 4 hours of community maintenance, a 1.5-hour monthly HOA meeting, and 12 hours per year — divided as you see fit — of shared communal workdays.

Read Our Mission & ValuesThe current tenant is in the process of purchasing a home elsewhere. We prefer to sell to buyers willing to rent back to tenant until tenant closes on new home (estimated 3 months - 1 year). Terms of new lease would be negotiated with tenant.
Rental income available until current tenant departs.
For buyers considering making an offer, we invite you to join us at a community meal and one of our monthly HOA meetings to get to know your future neighbors and catch a glimpse of community life.
The ten years we spent living in Doyle Street cohousing are filled with happy memories. From spontaneous game nights to community dance parties, movies in the common house, water balloon fights in the parking lot, and on one particularly memorable occasion a pig roast complete with fire spinning, we cherish the connection and community that is unique to cohousing.
This community is important to us. It is our goal to make the sale process as human as possible while still adhering to standard protocols and protections for all parties involved. We are looking for a buyer who shares the values intrinsic to cohousing and genuinely desires to live in community.
